What I do like that sons of Anarchy and mayans have the same stunt people have the same trainers they are a safe as they could possibly be to make sure that there are no injuries those are actual fire arms that they are carrying around and they're shooting not full load blanks but they're shooting actual blanks with real fire arms that fire live rounds as well as blanks so you have to be safe in those instances and it's a lot better now because most of the gunshots are done in post production anyhow so your acting just has to be up to par for those scenes we have to pretend that you've gotten shot and most of the up close and point blank range stuff has been done with computer generated effects and sound effects so you're completely safe when you've got a gun to the back of someone's head and in those instances especially the danger is significant you could not use a blank because you would probably do significant injury at that point a lot of times they use replica fire arms so they're as safe as they could possibly be and I don't know of any significant injury in the 10 plus years that they have been doing the shows
