I don't understand the marketing. When I think of the word Matte, I think of no shine and this product says shine free yet it looks dewy right from the start.

I don't think this is an accurate review. Actual oily people still wear a moisturizer or sunscreen to prep their skin, and it doesn't matter that a foundation says shine-free, we always pack on the powder. No one should wear a foundation all on its own.
