Will the outside clamp extensions work on 20" car wheels?

Technically it will clamp a 20" rim but, with the raised height from the adapters, it makes it a challenge to remove the tire. This is why I ended up replacing the unit in this video with a different one that has a wider range for outer clamping. Also, the adapters are better suited for motorcycle wheels.

So that machine or model can’t do a 21” motorcycle tire?

You would need to get thr motorcycle adapters which adds 2 inches to your highest outer Clamp. With this machine, that will only get you to a 20 inch setup so you would need the next model up to do 21s.
