Nice job on finding the mating net in the end! It's not so easy with so little time on the clock

Well played Ben, missing that free rook was fun. Thanks mate.

Nice game. At 15:33 (1:58 on your clock), instead of Qe4+ and trading down Rhe8 just traps the queen. Qg5 trying to trade queens doesn't work due to Qe5#.

NB: A follow up on my previous comment and i created a puzzle bassed on your possition(15:38): ...When that is said i think the variation that you found with the descovery tempo tactics ( with check) giving a protected pawn attack to the rook was very beautifull and according to computer what you played and Re8 are about equaly good(totaly winning), because i looked at this and made a nice chess tactic Puzzle out of your possition. I made some changes to the possition. Because you where offiser up there are many other resonable moves.. so i gave you opponent a knight, and i put that kning on e3, so that in case of a rook coming to the e file, white has Qf5 that saves the queen and can offer a queen trade. Feel free to use as you want: Black to move and win: [FEN "2kr4/1b5r/1p4q1/pP1pQ2p/P2K1P2/2P1NRP1/8/R7 b - - 1 1"]

Wild game and well played. At 15:38 I think also Rd-e8 winn the Queen or a rook. But Rh-e8 does not. After Rd-e8 If thy play Qg5, Qe4# is mate, so they probably has to try f5, but then Qg4+ or Qxg2, if Qg4+ and they block with rook and both have hanging queens. But its your move. If you then take on g2 you are infiltrating with your queen, but perhaps white can defend somewhat. But if instead of playing Qg4+ you could take on g2 directly with queen. They would have hanging rook and queen, not easy to defend Qf4 would seem to save queen and protect rook but then Re4 forks queen and king. Cant see how white can defend Rd-e8, f5, Qxg2.

What a wild game, only hope I could play similar as a lot going on though out it and very well played.

Nice win! Maybe I'm missing something but at 5:21 it looks like Qxe5 wins the knight?
@ChessBootCamp5 күн бұрын
That's true, the knight is hanging, and so is my bishop on d5. I'd be concerned after Qxe5 exd5 and then my queen and king are on the open e file.
