Mayhem in the Dáil: TDs linked to Brian Stack murder

Fine Gael TD Alan Farrell used Dáil privilege to call for Sinn Féin TDs Martin Ferris and Dessie Ellis to make a statement about the 1983 murder of prison officer Brian Stack.
In heated scenes in the Dáil following a statement by Gerry Adams TD, Farrell said that he wanted to raise a “point of order”.
Ceann Comhairle Seán Ó Fearghaíl said that there was to be no “point of order at this stage” but allowed Farrell make a comment “very briefly”: jrnl.ie/3126107

as someone who voted fianna fail in the last election i cant stand the level of hypocracy here it seems the two main parties have no problem looking for accountability from sinn fein regarding the NI conflict but i cant find any accountability in their own past when it came to the 20s.. if the two main parties wanted answers for the stack family then they would set up a truth commission to look into most cases .. but i guess using the murder to score points against sinn fein suits them better
