I mean we now know that male and female are the same so this should be a moot point now. Also there are 2 sides to every story and its usually best to forget a person's past when they have had an obvious change. The guy was a mess with drugs/alchohol but seems to have matured and learned from those mistakes. Maybe we should look at him for who he is today rather that who he was in a bad state of mind. Gotta let the past go especially when there appears to have been a clear change as well as his awareness of how bad he was. The man is not in denial or "person" I guess I should say.
