Mayko Nguyen: All I Do Is Nguyen

Tobin welcomes Mayko Nguyen to the podcast. Mayko has been featured in Rookie Blue, Killjoys and is currently potraying Chief of Forensics, Sarah Truong on City TV's Hudson and Rex. The series is filmed in St. John's, Newfoundland.
Mayko discussed getting the role for the show, the changes they have made in the latest season, working with Rex (a german sheppard dog) and how originally she struggled when first making the move from Toronto to Newfoundland.

Love the way that everyone has expanded their roles. It adds to the interest and variety of storyline. Seeing more of Sarah and Jesse is great. We will get series 5 in early 2023 in UK. Can,t wait.

I enjoy the show very much. What I have a hard time with is on you tube so many shots of someone's ear, or someone's eye, or something so close or blurred scenes. Or looud music cut ins. Or playing only part of it and not being from Canada, I think this is the only way we can see it and it gets messed up. The dog is great. I love big dogs, have had fantastic Doberman, full blooded German She pard, Old English Sheepdog, Austrailian, shephard, a lot of dogs I outlived. These big dogs do not live all that long.

Great interview! I wonder, is this movement/development between Charlie and Sarah happening at some point during the season or is the show going to drag it out right til the end again? It’s getting hard to watch when they’re giving each of them different love interests/ill-advised hookups.
