I'd love more recipe card and album ideas!! My Mom loves to have her recipes on separate cards so she can take it to the table to work. Her arthritis forces her to sit instead of stand and the single card takes up less room when working. Could you teach us how to make a cute recipe box that would hold separate recipe cards? I'd love to make her a box with tabbed sections to organize her recipes. Thanks so much for all you do sweet lady!

Once the recipe cards are done, it would be a good idea to also seal them into a plastic sleeve to make them where they can be cleaned off if splatters or spills get on them.

I like the idea posted in another comment about a recipe card box tutorial. In fact, it would even be nice to see a tutorial for both sizes of boxes. I inherited many of my mother’s and grandmother’s recipes on the small 3” x 5” size cards, and it would be nice to make a special box for their originals in their handwriting.

Could you turn your blender brush upside down so the brush is facing up and slide it back in the holder to let it dry.

I suggest letting the water run out or down the brush. I only say this because of cleaning my paint brushes, I’ve always been taught to try and keep water out of the inside of the brush. But this is not made the same as a paint brush so it might be okay…I’m not very helpful, sorry!!

I’ve never sharpened a pair of scissors, but they make items that you can run them through that will sharpen them. I’m not sure why I’ve never had to sharpen any. Also, people always suggest cutting aluminum foil to sharpen metal things. I have an aversion to metal on metal, even typing this has made my mouth draw up!
