This was summer 1976. Lynn was long gone. He left in Dec 1974.

Maynard a bit outta tune on the D at the 8 second mark. That flugelhorn can be a bitch and even the great Maynard knows it. He's the greatest though so, screw it.

I heard it too and also agree with the toughness on that darn flugelhorn. Sometimes ya gotta lip that note in tune. It's Maynard though and anything he does is good enough for me.
