Thank you for sharing your experience Jo. It was very interesting even though I'm sure it was very scary. I've seen my share of hospitals and had many scans in the past ten years so I could relate to some of it. I was also lucky to have my parents with me 9 years ago when I went through cancer treatments. They stayed with us on and off mostly to help with the kids (they were 8, 5 and 2 and a half at the time) but they also took care of me and I felt so lucky for it. And like you, I felt blessed that despite my cancer diagnosis, I was financially stable and I received great care. In my case, the cancer treatment center was 10 minutes from home 🏡. Anyways, I'm glad that the surgery was a success despite the small complication. You do look healthier than the last time!

Cancer had to be so difficult on you and on your family, I am so glad you are better. The scans, OMG I hate the scans lol. I am sure you get the whole please just leave me alone feeling after seeing so many doctors. I thank God I have good health insurance and have the financial means to make such a trip. It is crazy how much better I feel compared to last time. I hope it continues.

I am so glad you are doing well. I learned the important lessons myself when my husband had a major health event. My situation was big & hard & devastating but I had support from my family to get thru with 2 little boys. I also learned that everybody is going thru something, be kind.

Some of life’s biggest lessons come in the most difficult times. God can show us so much about ourselves and others. You are so right, everyone has a battle and we just need to really try to be kind and understanding of people. I have learned that too.

You made my cry/ and laugh almost the whole video! You are extremely strong women! I would have to have my husband with me at all times otherwise I would have gone crazy. I too, had "tapped out of life" twice moments. Once when my first son was born, and we almost both died, and the whole experience was horrific and second time when I had my kidney stones for the 3rd time, and I was screaming and bagging doctors and my husband to take me out, thinking that my stomach and back will literally explode! Sooo I exactly know that feeling and its a pretty dark place to be in but, when you out of it, you are grateful! I love how you took lessons from this journey and will apply it to you life from now on! You are blessed! Take it easy and heal anddd show us that bag of yours lol

Wow, your birth experience sounds so scary. I hear kidney stones are soooooo painful, and having them so many times sounds horrible. It is a feeling of such hopelessness when you body and mind are both just ready to give up. I am very blessed by the experience and am so happy that things are going well. Yes excited to share my new bag!!

I'm glad you're doing better and that the surgery went ok! So many people I watch on KZbin have endometriosis and I'm curious how common it is and if it's always been this common but just no one talked about it?? I hope more doctors specialize in it because it definitely seems to be affecting a lot of people.
@polishtalk4696 Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. So from what I have researched it affects 1 in 10 woman, so it is fairly common. I think for being so common the research and treatments just aren’t where they should be. I am not sure if it has become more prevalent or more people are talking about it, but I do think it is affecting a lot of woman’s lives. I pray the more we share stores to the more is done to come up with treatments and maybe a cure.

Haha!!! What parts? I guess heating about it from the nurses would be interesting too. The nurses were so amazing. They literally see and do everything. I had a stomach drain that had to be pumped out and it would gross me out so bad. I told the nurses thank God there are people like you all willing to do this work. I know I could not. It takes a very special person.

@@polishtalk4696 Just hearing you explain the prep and tests and then the procedure. It was interesting to hear you talk about the MRI and your anxiety response and the radiologist’s response was to give you a lavender patch 😂 I also laughed out loud when the doc asked if you had been ambulating and your answer was “I don’t know, what’s ambulating?” It’s just a funny reminder that healthcare workers aren’t supposed to use healthcare jargon. It was also very very nice to see/hear how much you loved your care team and how well you were treated. 😊

I've been patiently waiting for this, so glad to hear all about your surgery. I am not planning another surgery as my Dr said due to all the adhesions, I'm not a candidate again....I do have something on my ovary but won't know what it is til January 26th....it's more than a cyst but my Dr isn't sure what it is... she did mention endometrioma however, or complex cysts, so who knows... And bowel prep, is the worst, lol...I had it before my second laparoscopy but wouldn't have needed it, it's no fun, that's for sure....hoping your recovery goes smoothly Thank u for sharing this 😊
