Mayo River State Park

The Mayo River was identified as a promising place for a state park through the NC Division of Parks and Recreation’s initiative, New Parks for a New Century. In 2004 it became North Carolina’s 31st state park. Please visit the park's website : ncparks.gov/mayo-river-state-park
