Mayo's, Castlebar Hat Factory, Ireland. Radio Documentary

Presented & Produced by Tommy Marren & Ronan Courell, this is the story of the Castlebar Hat Factory. Built in 1939 it was a landmark building in Castlebar and played a major role in the economic life of the area until its closure in 1981. It was one of the largest employers in the region.
In this unique radio documentary we interview a large number of Castlebar people who remember with fondness their days working there.
