Funny enough im also doing an engine overhaul on a 1zz new pistons and all, this the third time doing it , people from my country Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 don't believe that u can do an overhaul on 1zz bcoz they do shortcuts...i did 2 of them proper proper... everything to the enginners abd they were queit and silent... obviously sll thsnks to you coz i watched most of ur 1zz videos 🥂

Great video. Thank you. I just added the gasket shellac to my list. I have a '99 Corolla with 470,000 miles. Burns oil. Collecting parts for a TC and HG replacement. For electrical and sensitive parts like engine internals, I only use OEM. But right now I am looking at three times the cost going OEM vs third party for these upcoming projects. Any thoughts about where I can make the divide? Best

After gasket installation, the first start is done. After starting the engine for some time, this sound will disappear

Mi Corolla hace el mismo sonido le cambie empaque de culata anillos nuevos y no se solucionó le revisaron valvular y todo bien ya 3 años de andar así y ningún problema me resigne a tenerlo así con ese golpesito . Me imagino que si fuera grabe ya me hubiese dejado después de 2 años de tenerlo así manejándolo un sonido idéntico también lo hace la bomba de agua. ...saludos

@@MayoCarsDR HEAD BOLTS ARE TORQUE TO YIELD. THE HEAD BOLT CAN STRETCH WITH TORQUE. I EVEN REUSED HEAD BOLTS EVEN THOUGH I KNOW IT. NO ISSUES SO FAR IN MY 4AFE.
