Are we thinking about the TGL in the wrong way? I don't think its about getting ppl to care about the TGL as a standalone. I see it more as an interesting way in getting ppl invested in the individual players themselves. Golfers dont get a chance to show much personality during an event. The TGL could give these guys a way to show their personality and gain some fans, while staying in their element. In doing so, TGL viewers might be more inclined to tune into an actual tournament when these players are in contention.

Not just you guys, the tv coverage/availability was awful. On Friday they spent 1 of the 3 hours showing Smylie's face during his "happy hour" instead of showing the actual golf. Incredibly frustrating. Also had Tom Kim, so that didn't help my weekend enjoyment with this Saturday meltdown...
