What's interesting is, if she was really born in the PI, there wasn't any medical records of hospitalization or MD consultation as she was growing up. As you know, a newborn up until 7 years old, children develop diseases that at times require either hospitalization OR doctor consultation. Alice Guo could not present any of those from 1-14 years. She grew up in a farm, they are fairly wealthy, the family could have requested for a home consult from a doctor. Nothing.

Even the police can only detain a person up to 48 hrs without court order. Private individual has even less leeway in detaining a person. RPC Article 267 & 268 penalties includes prison time form 6 months to 12 yrs

Article 9 of the ICCPR specifically prohibits arbitrary arrest and detention. This means that no one should be subjected to detention without a lawful basis and due process of law. Detaining someone for debt collection by a private individual is considered arbitrary and unlawful.
