We Londoners elected Sidiq Khan and we support him, thank goodness we have a mayor with principles and ethical standards. As an Irish person, I know about some of the things he did to support the Irish community back in the 80s, when we were at the receiving end of racism and discrimination, he is an admiral person and a great political role model. This is so powerful from Sadiq. It is indeed frustrating having to prove your loyalty to this country on a daily basis. Khan is a resilient guy, congratulations to him on his third term as London Mayor. But think about the young Muslim boys and girls growing up, being seen with suspicion and treated as outsiders. I've voted Plaid Cymru my whole life, if Sadiq was Labour leader I honestly would vote Labour. Can someone explain to me concrete terms precisely how Corbyn was anti-Semitic? This is a genuine question, not trying to dodge anything or dog whistle or deny anything, I just haven't been able to find an article that clearly lays out the evidence. What did he actually say or do that clearly indicated he was anti-Semitic and not just pro-Palestinian? To be up front about my biases, I don't think being anti-Israel is the same thing as being anti-Semitic, nor do I think that claiming to be anti-Zionist automatically makes someone an anti-Semite (although I absolutely acknowledge that anti-Zionism is often used as a cover for anti-Semitism.)
