We Londoners elected Sidiq Khan and we support him, thank goodness we have a mayor with principles and ethical standards. As an Irish person, I know about some of the things he did to support the Irish community back in the 80s, when we were at the receiving end of racism and discrimination, he is an admiral person and a great political role model. This is so powerful from Sadiq. It is indeed frustrating having to prove your loyalty to this country on a daily basis. Khan is a resilient guy, congratulations to him on his third term as London Mayor. But think about the young Muslim boys and girls growing up, being seen with suspicion and treated as outsiders. It's devastating for their mental health and growth as people.

I've voted Plaid Cymru my whole life, if Sadiq was Labour leader I honestly would vote Labour. As much as I have lost faith in this Union that is the UK, Sadiq is one of the few people that restores my faith in the UK, and could easily sway my position from Welsh independence and make me hopeful enough to give Britain a second chance.
