We in London fund TFL through our council tax, in fact we fund TFL for the benefit of commuters from out of London who don’t pay council tax in London. The north should be arguing for an end to the privatisation of public transport, that would be levelling up

As a 73yr old pensioner, topped up by Pension Credits . The increase I received is welcome but is not sufficient to make much difference at all. The cost of food steadily increases so all I can afford is to order food and groceries and pay £4 to have them delivered!
