Build all the housing you can, it wont make a difference if private equity buys them all, forcing city built prices to fall in line with their maximum profit prices. What safeguards are there that the savings developers get from lowered city fees are passed on to the end user? Will these units be sized only for transient people and international students, like people with no possessions?
