I'm a professional hairstylist but I'm not even going to get into what you should be doing lol but I would recommend changing to creme color, the ones in the tube.. you use liquid.. and it's harder to work with.. it's easier to mess up and make a mess. they sell loreal in the creme form at sallys... and when you use liquid color, you need to use liquid developer, it's in the blue salon care bottle.. never mix cream developer and liquid color.. creme with creme and liquid with liquid

As someone with naturally black hair it’s awesome to see beautiful woman pull it off. I watched your video with my teen daughters because I want them to learn makeup and hair techniques for other beautiful brown women.I do you have one comment about the video, you should always start with the color at on the roots regardless if the ends of your hair is the lighter color. The roots are the healthiest and there’s more natural oil so it takes longer for the color To absorb. The bottom of you hair is older, dryer and damaged , so color will absorb quickly. Your hair is too gorgeous to expose it to additional damage and breakage. Roots first girl!!! Luckly , black developers aren’t as damaging as going lighter. You’re you’re still beautiful and thank you for giving me a teaching Opportunity for my daughters.

Next time apply Vaseline on the skin around where you're going to dye your hair. It prevents from staining your skin. I also dye my hair black, well jet black, and it stains horribly lol Also for your dye to last longer I recommend Nice n' Easy Hair Dye, the dye job itself lasts about 2-3 months, and other drugstore hair dyes last max a month lol. Anyway I think the black is gonna make your eyes stand out🤗

I've only ever had my mom dye my hair. I've dyed my hair a lot. When I was little, I dyed my hair blonde maybe every 4-5 months. As I got older, I experimented with some different colors. I did some blue (because I have thick hair I can do layers) bottom layer and a dirty blonde top layer. I then died my hair again with that. Then I did red hair. Like natural red but like orange. I had that for maybe a year. Then I did blue tips. It really brought out my natural color which is actually really dark so almost black roots and blue tips. And now I have all black. It was suppose to be wash-in-wash-out dye but it was a week before Halloween when I dyed it. It is still in my hair, almost no fade. Ugh. My dad doesn't like it because it ages me.

Black/super dark brown is an underrated hair color from bleaching my brown hair because I wanted green streaks, bleaching it RUINED my hair, I mean it doesnt look bad it looks like a nice balayage but I dont like having warm tones in my hair, my hair is naturally dark brown but I've gotten natural highlights and i miss it, I'm working on darkening my hair because i look better when i tan and also i want it darker for my wedding because I'm having a fall wedding and darker hair to me suits colder weather cause everyone goes blonde/gets highlights in the summertime.
