Epoxy encapsulation and please, the best position is the pad over the remote control and stop charging when it says 75% charge. You'll get more durability on your remote.

I bought the Maytech efoil kit in 2020 and it turned out to be garbage. The motor was fine (although the propeller they send you is way too big) but the controller is absolute trash. I hooked up a 14S battery (well within specs) and the result was not enough speed to foil followed by the motor burning out (ruined) within 5 minutes. Got a new motor, same result. Of course Maytech doesn’t honor their warranty. I switched over to a Flipsky system and after some programming issues got it working great. I’d say avoid Maytech!

Epoxy resin encapsulation and the remote should always be placed in that position to remove the water around the electronics.

este fue el primer modelo que sacaron y no venia perfectamente estanco, de todas formas yo en todos, actuales y antiguos encapsulo con epoxy y me olvido

My latest remotes come with a nano plastic cover and glue. It is not enough for water sports.
