Gr8 info. Never taught about the night night lights. Kept checking water parameters and found it safe for and good. Will do the night light today it’s self and get a timer to turn on the blue lights when the tank lights go off.

You make the videos on aquariums that makes perfect sense as compared to existing videos by others. I literally was amazed by listening to one of your videos where you said not to fight against algae, instead learn why it's there. Whereas all the other KZbinrs would be talking about some phytocarb or other liquid to add to the fish tank to kill the algae. Although your channel is just blooming, this is going to be a master class channel for all aquarists who are either beginning or are already into the hobby. Please do add subtitles so that even the audience outside India will start subscribing. Adding to this video, the jumping out of fear happened to my Angel fish. I had turned off the lights in the evening and turned it on in a short while for some reason as the fishes were sleeping already. Out of fear, one fish swam so fast and jumped over 1 feet out of the water. Lucking he didn't hurt himself.

My tank is open, my tetra jumped out 2 were saved one time ...I had kids running near my tank and the fish got scared...bit both times it was in the day...one they were scared..2nd time I am guessing instinct to eat a bug... You mentioned night time there is co2 due to a few plants I have...less oxygen..my question is do I run a small oxygen stone in the night for a few hours...

points to remember 1. instincts (fish's nature's insticts; araona; barbs thees have tendencies to jump) 2. bad water qualilty (poor water quality; imbalance in ammonia in water, poor filtrations) 3. level of oxygen in water (poor oxygen levels in water; careful if it's planted aquariums) fooding 4. fear/stress (make sure to balance stress/fear level for fish) 5. crowded tanks; poor combintation of fish ( large and small fish) 6. shadows (fish don't tend to like shadows) balance lighting in/near aquariums 7. fish tend to jump during nights; poor lightings
