Gouramis are a diverse family of medium- to large-sized fish. Most can be kept in community aquariums, but some species do not play well with others, while some are too timid to be kept with larger species of fish. Native to Southern Asia from Pakistan to Korea, several species of the tropical freshwater Gourami are popular aquarium fish.
There are roughly a dozen species of gourami that are commonly seen in the aquarium trade. Several of them have more than one color morph, but are still the same species. Common gourami species include:

Ye gourami fish hamere bengal me ganga nadi mai mil jate hai. Natively hum log is fish ko 'kholsa mach' bolte hai. Mera bhi first aquarium fish tha wild gourami mai nadi se pakar ke lata tha. Abhi toh pollution ke bhajha se kam dikhte hai nadio mai.
