More like Kisuke is. In the war. In the final battle, it was Aizen who was the MVP, Uryu being the support, with Ichigo being the finisher.

​@smokingthatpack173 the one major thing Kisuke did was creating the pill for the bankai, which was important but ultimately the quincies never needed to steal bankais to win, most of their abilities are more hax. Mayuri literally unzombified several captains and plenty other soul reapers, figured out the quincies shadow powers which kept his lab in tact that Urahara needed to use later. He easily dispatched Toshiro and zombie girl along with 2 other zombified captains and Matsumoto. Oh, lets not forget he used Gisele's zombies to then beat the love quincy quite easily. He then goes on to save Kenpachi life later on and beats the right hand of the soul king which is a huge feat. Mayuri was the MVP among the captains, no other character did all that he did. Kenpachi gets credit for the meteor, kisuke for the pill. Juha lost due to an arrow, not anyone in particular.

@@PWN18 the entire arc in itself has amazing moments but luckily with the anime adaption it gives more of a smoother storytelling style than it did in the manga which was more dialogue heavy since they explained a lot more compared to the anime. The anime will eventually be better because unlike the manga they’ll continue adding original scenes that helps mesh one part of the story together with another. My biggest wish is that when cour 4 airs the ending gets revamped because we really got left with more questions than answers. It’s actually like Kubo knew he was running on limited time and put out the important information but knew he’d circle back to at some point to make it clearer. An example of that would be Soi-Fon’s shunko. In the manga she told BG9 that she had perfected it but in the anime she told him she didn’t (which makes sense) so it’s small things like that which makes rewatching bleach incredible.

It actually does, the new animation doesn't feel like Bleach to me. While they take the anime in an interesting way with amazing osts, I'm not a bit fan of the red sky etc. But, the voices are perfect. So overall, 7.5 out of 10

Even Urahara couldn't fully complete the vaccine for the DD, albeit he didn't have much time. Askin isn't the type of guy you can counter with just vaccines or organ restructuring. Just a correction.

It's because he created a complete and original being from nothing (Nemu is not artificial). Having it's own soul, reiatsu, and consciousness not to mention with innate ability to evolve. Mayuri basically did a feat of a God. And that's the reason he believed he finally surpassed Kisuke. Because Kisuke only managed to create either artificials and copies like mod souls, gegais etc. Or incomplete such as the Hogyoku he made that was later on completed by Aizen.

It can not defy Mayuri. It is just that Mayuri can pull out so many tricks up his sleeve that scares Askin. Mayuri will only lose if he wants to should it benefit him. As he stated in the manga, he is the only one capable of not relying on his bankai. Besides Mayuri could also rearrange his body and add parts to it like the Szayel fight.

Mayuri seems more interested in biological things and the dose of death Is definitely what mayuri deals with on a daily. Kisuke's science seems to be more on the philosophical side and focuses on creation while mayuri is more disection/modification of what already is. With that being said mayuri constantly changing spiritual frequency doesn't seem out of the question nor does injecting himself with drugs to change his own death dosage also out of the question. Not to mention his drugs may have a much more severe impact on askin as it can change askin's biological DNA itself.

Nah, Askin would….he had Urahara on the brink during their battle, he’d beat Mayuri but not easily though. It took outside interference from a kitty, 2 Shioin’s and the protagonist to get bodied to beat this guy (which technically he took ALONG time to die even after getting hollow’d in the chest.)

I think the only reason Mayuri let him off the hook here is because he realized Askins dome would kill everybody in it if he dies, Mayuri would just liquify himself to survive but the rest of the squad would die. the question is did Mayuri not engage to save his squad members or because he couldn't afford to be liquified for a few days while the war was going on.

Aizen would outfox people and toy with them but not necessarily kill them and analyzes them. His beef is with the Soul King and the balance of worlds. Askin plays a Lackey and acts like a idiot (but plays up to it and has the intelligence to match), will kill you (V.E.R.Y……S.L.O.W.L.Y……..), wants you to hurt him so you can’t do nothing once he has immunity. Just follows Bach because…….he’s just curious what would happen if all the worlds merged together, who needs loyalty when you have curiosity.

@@soul8648 kyoraku have no qualms in letting ichigo be the next soul king and be chopped up. Sure hes not a fan but doesnt hate the idea either. Ichibei is sketchy at best. Kisuke is a good dude but like aizen said hes the status quo guy and if ichigo is ever needed to be the soul king hell probably have no problem with it and think it as a necessary sacrifice. Yourichi is hot but shes like just the hotter bustier version of soifon. Soul society is a weird ass place and those top brass are heartless asf.

So ill trust clear cut objectives than moralistic backstabbing for the sake of stability. If you read all medias and novels youll see that soul society is a filthy place full of backstabbers and enablers, way worst than hueco mundo and them quincies. And kyoraku is a big enabler and that hat guy is a status quo type of guy. Case in point they nearly chopped up poor ichigo for "stability's" sake.
