This is the difference between Urahara and Mayuri. Urahara, on one hand, relies on ichigo and goes down while fighting only 1 opponent . People who say Urahara is superior are completely correct, but in tybw Arc, he didn't do much his only feat is the pills to reclaim bankai and defeating askin. But on the other hand, we have Mayuri the real mvp of tybw he outsmarted every Quincy with a minor shadow detail, made a cannon for ichigo to travel to SK palace, defeated the zombie girls, revived killed enemies to be his puppet, saved toshiro-kenpachi-kensei and rose. Defeated the left hand of SK didn't even sweat and relied only on his skills and bankai, which was studied by Quincies but kept modifying it. Mocked Yama and shunsui two dealiest HC of Gotei 13. 😢 even tried sealing the deal with Aizen lol while handling other things. Truly, both of these characters are goats, but Mayuri , in my opinion, is superior.

I disagree don't compare ichigo and yamamoto to zaraki. ichigo and yamamoto could lose one arm in their first attack like what happened to zaraki, but after that they probably going to use range attacks, unlike zaraki who doesn't have range attacks. The only thing missing are her memories. He took her brain and implanted it into another nemu vessel. His dream was to create a sentient clone that was capable of free-will, and in this scene we saw that Nemu achieved that. She essentially became a fully-blown shinigami that Mayuri created. He wished to preserve that sentience by keeping her brain after she dies. It's the same person, just her memories aren't there so that she can further develop her sentience. Same brain, different body (but not really, as it's a body grown from her own genetic data), so she basically just got a brand-new body.
