I was wondering where the group performed their amazing performance. The beautiful location, Sursock Palace, puts more meaning into the whole dance theme. This 19th-century palace (built in 1860) was heavily damaged by the Beirut Port explosion on August 4, 2020. It was rehabilitated and re-opened recently (May 26, 2023) to the public as a private museum and a cultural hub. The four elements of life - earth, water, air, and fire - made up all matter according to the ancients. The harmony and the balance of these four elements make up our world. Maintaining a balance between these basic four elements ensures a full life and serve as powerful guides on how-to live-in synergy with nature. They are the foundation for healing.

Balancing both the sides, the goddess show their powers at the end the sun goddess adds the water into the vessel which was then taken by the intruder. Commonly misinterpreted by Westerners as the "72 virgins" nonsense, but the Houri is all who enters heaven. The Silver Tree clearly refers to Tuba, which is a tree which grows in Heaven, or perhaps it refers to the Tree of Life, which grows in the Garden of Eden in islamic mythology (there is no tree of knowledge in Islam). And in the music video, we also see what might be the Tree in Hell, Zaqqum.

I love the Mayyas because their mystical imagery speaks to me on a spiritual level. Everytime I see them dance, I feel like I am peeking into the Infinite. I mean, they've formed a pyramid, a tree, the goddess Shiva, and finally fire. The fact that they are all stunningly beautiful women doesn't hurt either.

Absolutely stunning!!! I rember growing up and singing and dancing my father would have me watch and listen to music from all around the world. Creativity is everywhere and each has its own beauty. He use to tell me music and dance come from not just what you see but what you feel. Some comes from your heritage or beliefs and others pull from there soul.
