We're on a 7 day Carnival Panorama Cruise! For our second port, we spent a fun day in Mazatlán. From delicious carnitas street tacos to a huge shrimp platter for 2, and touring the city on a Hop on Hop off Bus, we had a great time in Mazatlán!

Oh how I miss Mazatlan! We always went there for two weeks at Christmas time. We stayed at a resort north of the golden zone. Lots of good memories of the shrimp factory and the Mercado and most of all the beach! If you ever have the opportunity to spend a week there it’s definitely worth it! They have so much great dining, and the fish is fresh caught every day. I got really homesick watching this video!

Omgawd, I went to Shrimp Factory also when we went to our Mazatlan port of call. Great minds think alike! Yes it was in a tourist area but oh well, not too many options in the area. Also, it was so unbearably humid and hot that the restaurant gave us hand fans. So nice of them. Great experience!

Im lucky enough to be getting on the panorama just before my birthday in February for a work cruise going to be trying all the tacos and hopefully seeing some cool things! I love your vlogs. Oh my goodness I felt like I went on the trip with you two. The food looked so delicious I could just taste with you. Bill you were eating arancini balls or in English you can call them rice balls. We normally stuff them with mozzarella cheese, Hamburg , peas, and sauce then roll them like a baseball in bread crumbs and fry. Top with tomato sauce, and sprinkle with cheese, enjoy.❤️

Bus goes on a loop course stopping at 'point of interest' stops. You can choose to get off at any of the stops or just stay on and go for a long bus ride, it's all up to you. Typically, busses run anywhere from 15-30 mins at the stops. Hope this helps!

i will be taking this very cruise in November and was not sure what to do in Mazatlan. I like the idea of the Hop on and Off bus. Question: on your stops, do they drop off for a certain time frame, like 1-2 hours to walk around? I just started following you and you both are the cutest and i love your reviews

Welcome to our channel, Vivian. It's up to you how long you want to explore at each stop. You don't have to get off the bus if you don't want to. If you get off, busses run about every 20 mins.

@@vivianorozco4128 There were 4 or 5 buses continually running, so wait time at any stop is around 20 mins or so. They'll let you know at the start (and even indicated on your paper wristband) what time the last bus pick up is back to the ship (eg. 5:15pm at Golden Zone). We purchased our tickets off the ship as shown in the video. Not sure if you can purchase them at the Shore Excursion desk onboard, you can always inquire at the desk. Hope this helps.

Hello, the hop on hop off is that a tour you need to purchase from Carnival or you just pay for the bus and do the tour on your own?? I couldn't find it in their excursions and we would rather go on our own (like you guys did) than pay a lot, walk with a group and be limited. Sailing in August.

You sign up right as you get off the ship with some staff holding the Hop on Hop off bus tour sign. Carnival sanctioned, you use your Sail & Sign card to sign up, cost charged to your room account.

All the tourist shops and restaurants we’ve visited in Baja Mexico accepts US Dollars. But, if you want to use pesos, probably best to visit your local currency exchange.
