Mazda 3 with the Engine and AT warning lights on.

I was driving I was in fourth gear manually and all the sudden my car slams into third gear AT light popped on and I couldn’t switch gears . Even when I switched it to auto it was still stuck in gear ⚙️. It happens more on cold start did it 2 times tonight when I got off of work on my way home . 2010 Mazda3 2.5 sports . Do u think it could be my TCM sensor . My AT light goes away when I restart my car

I need help with my 2004 hatchback Mazda 3, the AT light is on and after like 10km of driving it will refuse to throttle pass 2000rpm and gear will be stock at 3. I have reached out to mechanic workshop on it and was told it’s TcM but we can’t locate where the TCM IS. Can you be of help? PS it’s not in the same location as the 2006 upward

It’s usually mounted on top of the Transmission case. You have to remove the battery & battery tray to see it. Best to relocate the TCM after replacing it.

I had my AT light on I checked my transmission fluids then and it was really low. Is this the only issue why AT was on? Cause my car drive fine.

Hi Rob, I have the same car, same engine and AT light on and same error code. I changed the speed sensor yet it's still throwing the lights and error code... Any ideas?

Did you get it fixed? I replaced my input and output speed sensor and it fixed it for a little while (2kmiles) jus came back on tonight. I hope it's not inside the trans
