Hi I’m trying to change the Window motor and I know nothing about cars but I’m trying. I did the passenger window no problems but the sliding door I can’t pop all the clips out and now I’m standing in my Apt parking lot trying to figure out what I should use or do to pop the clips out. Plz help if you can. Thx Kathy

I see that this car is wheelchair modified! Same as mine! May i ask what was the purpose of removing the panel? I'm having an issue with a handle and the whole mechanism where it doesn't open the door sometimes and the handle feels loose on the outside.

@@manufacturingdefect1287 one of two "ears' that hold the handle on the inside was broken, that's why it was glitching like that, until one day it broke off and got stuck. Had to drive home with the door open 🤣 Ended up getting a whole new handle. So I'd suggest to start looking into that.

@@antonlitvinau8142 Thanks a lot will look into it soon. The automatic door is the one that's acting up. Stuck closed and handle just wobbles without doing anything

@@manufacturingdefect1287 not sure where you're from, but i purchased brand new original painted handle from dealer, here in Canada, for $70. Although, probably would be even cheaper at the scrap yard, but that would be used and someone would need to remove it too.

Can you take off the door panel with the door closed? Because I have a broken outside handle but the door is locked via child lock. So I need to take off the panel whilst it being locked

You can access child lock from inside with door closed, just need skinny fingers or a little tool with a hook

I had the same problem! If you can get the first two panels off and disconnect the window, you will be able to see two cables--pull the bottom one towards the front of the car and then it should unlock and open. Then you can follow the rest of the steps accordingly.

hello just purchased used 2012 old system wheelchair modified mazda 5, but left sliding door is only electric open/close by the switch under steering , manually handle not work , the lock as removed (canadian version) search idae for manually open.
