So they with are the same I have a extended cab I know the bed is 6 ft 72 in I want to know if the extender cap is the same like the extra cab the with to see I can find a cover from another county truck because they're hard to find 🤨

Aftermarket tailgates I seen around 100-120 new, oem used go about the same depending on how good it looks

@@FlakeGarage Called a seller and it's present. Just removed in pictures. This truck is probably really cheap to run. But in our country even smallest trucks are considered as a commercial vehicles => road tax. Decision time if I actually need it. Worse mpg than I get with my diesel civic + trailer. But mazda is so simple and robust on the other hand. ahhh

Your main difference is going to be the length and the mounting points for bed and cab, everything else will be pretty much the same

It's all opinion. I have 3 so I'm bias but they are becoming more rare as time goes on, and relatively they are still fairly cheap to fix/mod right now. You also could have the chance of keeping a family vehicle specially if it's well taken care of.

No you haven't. Mazda did not make a 1985 truck. In about June 1985 they came out with a 1986 model. It might have been made in 1985 but it was a 1986 model.

Have a 1991 B2200 Cab Plus. Having a an impossible time finding a cover. Do you know of any covers that would fit a 1991 B2200? Noticed you found a Toyota one in another video for your red Mazda but that's a different bed size than the Cab Plus.

For the cab plus I’ve heard that a ranger cover will fit. A Toyota 6ft bed cover from the newer Tacoma might fit as well but I haven’t been able to confirm it does

​@@FlakeGarage I actually ordered a Bestop cover for a '91 Ranger and actually called them and they said it would fit...it didn't. Wasn't wide enough...was 3" short. I did watch your video from Truxedo and I actually reached out to them and they mentioned the latch thing also but after watching the Drift Truck video you linked, it looks like it will work since it worked for his B2200. Little pricey but looks solid. Also looked at that Downey one but it seemed pricey & didn't look at good. Wanted to see if I could find a cheap one first just to try. It's good to see your Inside Length: 71.9 in & Inside Width: 56.9 in matched up with my measurements of basically 72" and 56.875.

@@l14cv93 oh no, yeah I haven't had first hand experience with any covers on the cab plus that's why I haven't made a video or recommend something with confidence. Truxedo makes good quality stuff so I think their cover would be solid but it's definitely not going to be cheap. I'll add it to my list and see if I can find anything else for the cab plus and update you guys

@@FlakeGarage Thanks! I think I'm going to go with the Truxedo since this is a keeper truck and watching the V8 one you linked, it should work. They mentioned the latch thing but in that video the latch worked fine.

To be clear- Mazda NEVER HAD A 1985 TRUCK. I should know. I had a 1984 Mazda B2000 SE-5. In approximately June 1985 they came out with the 1986 Mazda truck. If you have a 1985 model prove it to me.

The measurement from wheel arch to the end of the bed at the cab is over 30” at the shortest distance at the bottom.
