My 2016 CX-5 is electronic rear brakes ,this procedure should work ,very good video detail and not rushing through the steps for me teaching a student in classroom how to! Thank you Old dog learning new tricks, lolol!

Dude thanks a lot! I tried many times but failed. Other videos said push the start button 3 times QUICKLY. But it never worked.. until I saw the speed of you pressing the start button 3 times. I followed your speed and voilaa.. it worked! Thank!

I changed a flat tire to my spare and then my car went crazy. Tons of lights on and couldn’t remove the breaks from being in service break. Will try this and hope it works

I can see where non-english speakers would have a hard time following because there were a few blunders involved but with a couple of reruns, it can be figured out, next time follow a checklist taped up to the window or someplace and have somebody else work the camera mate.

Thanks ! To print: To Enter Service Mode: Turn Ign On, double click start button without foot on brake. Push acc pedal to floor / Push Down on Parking Brake button Hold Both pedal and button as above. Turn Ign Off single click, Turn Ign On, double click button Motor should release brakes. Brake maintenance mode indicator light comes on. _________________________________________________________ Turning ignition on and off has not affect. _________________________________________________________ To Exit Service Mode: Turn Ign On, double click start button without foot on brake. Push acc pedal to floor / Lift Parking Brake button Hold both pedal and button as above. Turn Ign Off , single click / Turn Ign On, Double click button. Motor should set brakes Brake maintenance mode indicator light goes off.

No need for electronic brake service mode. Just do brakes normally.
