Does the front splitter block access to the oil drain and filter. Do you have to remove the front lip in order to do an oil change?

Not it is in front of the metal engine under plate and doesn't block access.

Did you have to cut/modify the spyder grill to install the platypus license plate holder? Thanks!

No modifying was needed. it was a little bit cumbersome to get the end in the right whole. It is doable and fairly easy.
