I think Theresa's death was more heart-breaking because Newt was already technically dead anyway, but I guess Newt was his best friend. The only close friend that survived the three journey was Minho!

099Nitro Yeah. For me Newt's death was way more heartbreaking because Brenda was on the way with the serum and if they'd fought for like 2 more minutes, Newt would've been alive. I wouldn't have cried so much if I knew that there's no way for him to live. But Brenda was freaking minutes away from saving him. I'm pissed and upset and really sad about that. But welp, the death had to happen, it was really important part for the movies and especially the books, they couldn't just erase his death. And he was my fav character, so yeah, my heart ripped apart when he died.

Elvija Venčiūtė yeah in the film you are right, but in the book there is no death cure and Newt coulnnot get well so Thomas killed him because Newt begged for his death - that is really sad. Teresas death on the other hand was not really sad, it was nearly at the end and the death scene wasnt emotional (for me) and Thomas too didnt seem to effect her death like Newts

Well honestly *Newt's charcater* and especially *Newt's death* have been amazingly acted by *Thomas Sangster* ..He did a good job *being cranky* ..And the *struggle* shown by the fight between *Thomas* and *Newt* gave the *death scene* a *reality look* somewhere.. *The Death Cure* wouldn't be too good without *Newt's death* beacuse this was the most important part of the whole series.. If *Newt's death* had been cut from the movie then there was no point of watching it and the struggle of characters in the movie would go un-mentioned.. I enjoyed *The Death Cure* only because of their struggle to save *Minho* and *Newt's death* .. Amazing job by the whole cast in the whole series and especially *The Death Cure* ...❤️
