I have watched so many of their videos over the years, and just never quite understood how their relationship has remained so secure. Is it their faith, lifestyle, differing cultures and backgrounds, the kids?? The questions would keep on coming...but after seeing this video; it finally hit me...they are both each others mirrors: Joe is a calm, thoughtful, sensitive guy and Alena is such a happy-go-lucky, random, non judgmental, transparent, child-like energy that on paper, these two clash. But they are both one another's introverts...what one displays to the world outwardly, the other feels it/thinks it mentally. Alena feels pretty deeply, she just doesn't verbalize it like Joe is able to express it into words; and Joe needs Alena's curious, child-like energy to escape to when his inner-world gets too intense for him. They are both each others escapism and safety nets and the children, and faith helps to seal that synergy. After hearing Joe literally wrap up as to why he loves Alena in less than 10 seconds flat in this video the lightbulb switched on for me lol and I have this new-found respect and love for this relationship. They literally balance each other. Does it mean they are a perfect married couple? No! Who is? But what may look so imperfect on paper/camera is what to me makes them beautiful...I've never seen two people mock each other in such a loving, light-hearted, yet respectful way! I really just love watching them raise and grow together. May God continue to bless them, unite them and walk with them and their family. They are a beautiful poem to watch unfold; many relationships only wish they could have what they have. Love ya both, love from Jamaica.

Hey im in high school and I just finished my freshman year. Did you know what college you wanted to go to Im your senior year like Amyah? I really wanna go to college and I learned you can get financial aid for colleges you want to go to. I want to go to a really good college for my education but I don’t know what I want to pursue in. I haven’t really done anything my freshmen year and I do feel there’s more i can do and I’m not sure if they’ll be enough? What do colleges look for? I already have a good GPA and stuff and I want to have a career that is high paying and where I can work less when I start a family or just for me to have fun in life
@effortlesslynj Жыл бұрын
@@enderless6055 hey there if you’re looking to get into a higher achieving college. 1) make sure your grades are on point. 2) make sure your testing is on point. When it comes to the ACT/SAT retake it if you need to to score as high of a score as you can. And start networking. Be involved in your community. If there are programs after school, join them. Because some of them will hand out scholarships. Start volunteering. Be all around in Community and School oriented. Remember not to overwhelm yourself. And a couple bad grades doesn’t mean that you’re not going to college. You are extremely capable. Your grades don’t define you. School shouldn’t define you. I promise you it will all work out. Just keep praying to God. And God will guide you. Don’t worry about keeping up with everybody else. Because trust me, eventually in life, we all fall into that. Just stay focused young one. And God will guide you. 🤍

Congratulations, Amyah! I am so proud of the young woman you've become! You have awesome parents and siblings to support you along the way. You will have many opportunities to shine in college, but you will have an equal amount (or more) of opportunities to fail while in college. Watch out for those students...especially in dorms...who will try to persuade you to do what you have been taught not to do, all because they are doing it. Remember, you can always go where they are, if they are into things they shouldn't be into, but they can never come back to where you are if you remain virtuous. Don't think for a moment that someone who entices you to drink and let your hair down has your best interest at heart. It may be true that no-one sees you, but God is everywhere and He is there to lead and guide you, not only there, but throughout life. Be that young woman who doesn't follow the crowd, but who has her own mind, regardless of what everybody else is doing. When you say no to sin, you are saying YES to your Heavenly Father. You then will become the person they all will aspire to become.

I agree with Joe 100% about not being FAKE in a relationship, always keep it real and authentic, that is why I ❤❤ this Mazelee family because they do not fake it for the camera, that is just who they are.

Wow!! Congrats Amaya!! You are beautiful inside and out! Your parents have brought you up in a loving and God-fearing way and it shows in you and your siblings! I am excited to see your next chapter! I'm sure it will be awesome! Keep strong in your college journey and remember and stay true to the values your parents taught you. I've been watching since your parenta had just you and maybe one other sibling! Keep taking good care of your beautiful hair! Youre like a star, you sparkle naturally and you're bright, vivacious and intelligent! Stay true to your natural self! I pray God's continued blessings and guidance over your life Amaya! Peace!❤🎉🎉🎉 Mom and Dad, you've both done a fantastic job in the ways you brought your children up. May God continue to bless and protect your beautiful family!! Love, you guys!!❤xx

Ms. Cynthia here! Congratulations, Sweet Girl, on your graduation! With your intelligence and enthusiasm, I think you will enjoy Berkley. I am a UCI grad '85, and I am proud that I survived and did well in the University system. Far enough to be on your own, close enough to come home and get kisses! Wise Girl! Have fun!
