I have had this radio for over 7 years and paid $5,995 for it. It has already had major software failure that cannot be fixed. I use it for CW only since SSB has also run into trouble. I got a lot of support from Russia through e-mail to include many helpful things along the way. I use it with an MFJ-949E tuner since the internal ATU is worthless! I still have lots of fun with it. The learning curve is huge. The radio does more than you could possibly imagine even with some of my software issues. You'll need to spend a helluva lot of time with the operating manual - even then, not an easy beast to conquer. Good luck to future buyers - now it is close to 7 Grand! - W2FKN

@@spacetimeengineering It's our spring clean and reworking the shack. Putting stuff away and wrapping delinquent lengths of coax up from on the floor. Been combing the web for ideas on a new cock pit style desk. Dunno might just blow the dust away and go back to playing radio. Keep saying something like that on the desk would save so much room.
