How to install E63 AMG grille for Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212 2014-2016 facelift models, this apply for sedan and estate. Don't even think to change the grille without removing the bumper, trust me is not going to work you brake lot of things and it take more time.

If anyone writes here in the comment section saying that you can change the grille without removing the bumper. Believe me it’s not true. You will break several clips and the new one will not fit properly. In the end, it will also take more time.

That's true. I was painting my stock grill black and didn't have any references on how to remove the grill. So, basically I've yanked everything out breaking rivet mounts on the bumper. Had to put back with bigger rivets, big amount of glue and 3m tape. Anyways, it came out awesome but not removable anymore 😂

That's right, only in the pre-facelift you can replace the grille without removing the front bumper, it's fixed by plastic tabs like the W204.

Yess it sucks doing it the (fast) way and is not even faster in the end. But found many comments and videos state is possible to change it that way. But that’s not right because you brake the car in the process.

So glad I watched this.... my 2010 e550 c207 coupe grill change was easy/no bumper removal.... recently got a 2016 e400 and I now can see it'll be WAAAY more work than I want to deal with to change the grill or star.. Leaving it stock

Don’t worry about it to much, but is good always disconnect it when removing the cables and so on to avoid short circuit!

Actually is only there for the esthetic, no function in this car. Don’t recall any of that from the mb documents but I could look again. The front camera should be calibrated after removal but so far I have not do it and it working flawlessly as before.

If you don’t have camera from factory you need to do all cables, 360 camera is not a easy retrofit.

By the time your done replacing the grill, a certain mechanic somewhere in the world, would have changed the entire front suspension, oil and filters, flushed out and bleed the cooling system on a Toyota.
