This is totally wrong Mtech CSE at IIT Bombay 2019 is avg 25 lpa IIT Delhi Mtech CSE 2019 is avg 28 LPA and Mtech CSE at IISc Bangalore is 29 LPA ( technical it's CSA not CSE ) and avg base salary at IISc Bangalore is 17 LPA so please don't depend only on this video and get your facts correct

Gate cs vs mba. Salary : all top IITs, iiith, iiitb are giving packages > 24. I personally am from iiitb. Competition : cracking gate cs and getting into these top colleges is much easier than getting into top b schools jahan ulte sidhe criteria hote hai like work ex, acads, gender diversity etc. Gate me bas rank lani hai aur kuch nahi. Life ka restart button type man sakte ho. Work pressure : although it depends but I think work pressure of software engineer is much lesser than that of product managers, consultant roles that u get after mba. Thodi aur research kriye sir and try to make an unbiased video.

For me ROI matters a lot... I am studying BTech at a tier 1/2 university where the total fees is around 30k inr and average salary is around 10 Lpa... I will give GATE and CAT both, my preference order will be MTech at IISc Bangalore first followed by IIT Bombay and Madras... If I dont get my desired branches there (like for microelectronics or CSE where you need under 50 rank mostly) then only I will try for Business school through CAT... And there too I will choose FMS Delhi (Faculty of Management Studies) over IIM ABC anyday because the fees is 2 Lacs and average placement same as IIM ABC (~25 LPA)....

average salary IITB compare karne ka koi matlab hi banta hai...IITB me ek hi branch nai hai bahot sari branch hai jiski salary less hoti hai because of that average salary comes down... otherwise just go and check Salaries of IITB CSE students 😉

Lets break down the points and where he's wrong 1)number of good colleges for mba and mtech- true colleges in MBA far exceed good mtech colleges 2) you hate your engineering so come to management side- many people choose engineering for their love of physics and maths and end up hating the same due to way professors teach( even in IITs professors are not that good) 3) Indian job market for mtech vs mba- yes mtech people have narrowed down their field of career but mba offer better opportunities 4) Average placements in IIT vs IIM- here I beg to differ. It depends upon branch. Computer science and electronics people from top colleges do get 20-30 lpa offers. 4) Cost- mtech is cheap mba is costly. Not true now. Government is planning to scrap stipend and make mtech fees at par with btech fees. ( Although some MBA colleges like NITIE, FMS have lower fee) MBA wins hand down

The salary u told for mtech is wrong and don't know from where u got the information that mtech paid less as compared to btech , actually it is other way round. The company recruit both for mtech and btech used to pay more to mtech as compared to btech or a grade higher and when u say salary , the packages offered at IITs for mtech and btech both are min 18 l to 35 l , if less people don't join there being from CS or electrical ... Please talk to any of the placement coordinator from IIT and don't mislead on half the basis of data , I was the placement coordinator for my IIT so I know how it works... People from CS or electrical paid better than even MBAs with quality of work... IITs do offer MBA as well
