"at the birth" not after the birth, and even if it was after the birth, a few months old infant cannot and should not contribute to the average age of a family since the average age is in years, while the infant is only a few months old(not years, again) according to my conceptual understanding aswell as basic logic. that is why we'd assume and only count 4 people since we're taking their ages in years, and the infant wasn't born yet in the question. even if he was born, we wouldnt consider the infant's age since it'll be in months. i hope this helped.

Hello sir i have a doubt in question 24, as you said that to find the average we need to divide by total number so here the new member was born so the total would be divided by 5 .

Q.25 me jese death horhi he waise hi same yr me new baby born horha he toh kaise udhr no. Of family change nhi hue....toh Q.24 and 25 contradict kr rhe he...hope me doubt ko explain kr paya hu

A. 24 jo baby just born hua hota hai 0 age wala ushko nhi count krte denominator mein A. 25 Jiski Death hui hai Usko Count krna hota hai like 1957 mein jo total denominator mein 20 bna hai wo old age death person ki wajah se bna hai new born baby ki wajah se nhi

Sir in the Last sum The average should be lesser than before (38) right? Bbecause people with higher age died and lower ages were born My answer came to be 32.3 years Am I wrong?

What if in Q.25, a member died and another child is not born, so the total no. Of observation will be 20 or 19 when dividing it with 60.

@@xnervemusic actually we know that if the number of persons are same then if as he is saying the average is increased by 2 means every persons age is increasing by 2 so first the person was 34 yrs and he is replaced by a member whose weight is 58 years so if avg is increasing then the new person must be heavier than the last one so he is heavier than 58-34= 24 so he is 24 year’s more and avg is increasing by 2 it means including him we have to divide this 24 so 24/2 = 12 persons
