On hindsight, making all my character guides with annotations was a really bad idea, but it was easy at the time. I'll re-record some clips and do another easy-digest beginner video once I find the time for it. It takes up a lot more time than it should because I'm such a potato at even the most basic video editing.

Oh, I see. Thanks again for helping! My fear is that this character may be too complicated for me as a beginner player. I still have so much to know about the game mechanics, I thought it would be easier if I started playing it with some kind of game knowledge. But thinking about it, maybe playing C since the beginning might be better so I could train more with him, while I avoid getting too used to H attacks/moves, right...? Also, I can send a message if you don't want to talk here on comments.

heavymetalmixer91 Actually, F-Roa is generally considered the weakest of the Roa moons. He is very much a blunt instrument that uses simple tools to get the job done, but because of that he doesn't have anything particularly impressive to fall back on. That said, as is typical of Full Moon characters, the sheer crushing force of him is incredibly effective in the right hands. By comparison, H-Roa has a few tools that are pretty similar to F-Roa, including the j.236 series and of course the epic frame traps and pressure strings common to all of Roa's moons, though H-Roa's pressure is better than F-Roa's. He relies primarily on the *amazing* SOKO DAROU 236 series, has a 214 that is better for zoning than F-Roa's 214 and, par for the course with Half Moon characters, likes to get off his 6AAA B&B. C-Roa is just as this video shows. He is generally considered the best of Roa's Moons and, indeed, one of the best characters in the game, period. This is ironic considering he was absolute bottom tier in MBAA's first few iterations. He is also typically considered the hardest to learn and use effectively, though once mastered he has absolutely godlike zoning and pressure. Between C-Roa and H-Roa, Roa as a whole doesn't actually have any bad match-ups, though F-Roa has quite a few match-ups where he's more effective than they are. C-Roa's development history is actually kinda interesting, since his tactics (laying orbs and charging his lightning, specifically) were actually laid out for the character in the fourth Type-Moon character poll, at which point Re-ACT was the most recent Meltan version. Since Crescent Moon is the "plays like Act Cadenza" style, it's very fitting.
