Sir, I tried to solve 26 September, 2004 by original method but I get it Saturday, not Sunday..... Please Sir help.....

Yes it will be Saturday then add one odd day because 2004 is a leap yr which makes the total odd days as 7 hence the ans is Sunday

When calculating the odd days for "month", consider the code of FEBRUARY as "1" instead of "0", then you will get your answer (SUNDAY). The reason is - 2004 is a leap year. It confused me as well.

Hi sir, i have a doubt in Jipmat question , sir why wouldn't be it saturday sir. Total odd days we get are 8, now 8/7= 1 remainder which means that 1 odd day is after a week that means answer should be saturday. please clear my doubt sir.

I have one doubt: in the question where you used short trick to calculate the date on 26th september'2004, by short trick you came to know that its 5 off days in the current month of September but what abt the leap year, since 2004 was a leap year, should not it be 6 odd days? @mbawallah
