Back to days of old, blowing a smaller school out by 40, shooting lights out, running gunning, 29 points off turnovers, with like 10 minutes left. Not struggling for 30 minutes, then winning by 20 at end. Difference is, pope will coach every game, like it's national championship. Cal would like coach for the players, maybe not necessarily the team. Pope will study each team, then play to take advantage of every mismatch, to win the game.cal really had different philosophy. He coached player's he had to play there best, not worried bout mis matches, or weakness's of other teams. Never changed offensive plays for 20 years. Pope will change offensive plays on the fly to the weakness of other team.
