Sir, I am Indian student want to do MBBS from King Edward Medical University Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan because of the following reasons: 1. It is the second oldest medical university in Asia (after Medical College Kolkata) built by the British in 1860. 2. The educational standard is some of the highest in the World, far better than general government Indian colleges (I am not talking of AIIMS, JIPMER, etc) 3. The educational system is exactly same (Teaching medium is English) 4. Cost of living is extremely low as compared to Indian cities like Delhi, etc. 5. I will get Indian environment, including Hindi language, Food, etc. I like their street food... 6. They are giving high amount of scholrship to foreign students. 7. Total cost (Including accomodation, medical insurance, food, etc) for 5 years is less than 10L. Visa fees is 120/- only. There are even AC busses from Indian cities like Amritsar to Lahore. Previosusly there used to be the famous Samjhauta express, but now they suspended it because of "security concerns including attacks by Jihadists" as per them. 8. Highest quality hostel rooms are provided (comparable to AIIMS, Delhi). Students are provided with individual accomodation rooms, even with AC at higher cost 9. The people are very friendly and compassionate and they personally love Indians due to same culture and history. SIR, PLEASE HELP ME GET ADMISSION TO KEMU, LAHORE THROUGH NEET UG. I have been saying these exact same things for the past 2 years but people get suspicious that I'm trying to misguide them since I've already become a doctor. Khud tau ban gaya hamay rok raha. As for going abroad, let me make this clear that migrating to another country as a doctor is far more difficult than for people of other professions. Also since there are more doctors now in Pakistan the competition for moving abroad has also intensified. So even if you think that you'll do mbbs and just move abroad then let me burst that bubble for you. Even if you manage to successfully settle in a foreign country even then your life will be more difficult than someone who's not a doctor and working in that same country for the same amount of money. Doctors in the uk are holding protests because they are underpaid and overworked. You spend the best decades of your life giving one exam after another, doing duties at odd hours, sacrificing your health and your happiness all to serve other people and get very little reward for that. Even if you do get blessed with wealth it comes too late. So why be a doctor? It doesn't matter. In the past becoming a doctor was considered an academic achievement but now just about anyone can become a doctor. So when you make something cheap you lose it's worth. Bilal is absolutely right. Stop investing in this field. Its fucked completely. Even if you have a job in a government setup you'll spend your years working under sadistic assholes who take pleasure in fucking you mentally and physically. No one can hold them accountable. This fucks with your personality over time and you end up being this miserable, frustrated husk of your former self. Your aim is to just earn money and have literally no life. Don't be a doctor. Believe me. Especially if youre gifted and do well academically invest your efforts in something else. You'll be rewarded for your efforts and appreciated.

Forgot to mention one other point that in order to qualify as a doctor in a country like UK or USA you have to have around 30-40 lakhs lying around which a lot of govt graduates from middle class families don't. Previously mbbs was thought of as a way by humble middle class families to move into the upper class and it used to work. But now it's just a bottomless pit where you keep on investing everything with very little returns.

In Pakistan doctor to patient ratio is 1:1300 And it is a fact read it on The Dawn. And i am the fist person in 40 k population in my town to persue mbbs As long as you put your heart in it and you become a good doctor you will also earn well. Or ha ye baat bhi sach hai agar aap itne mehnat kisee or field main karte tu app jaldee settle hosakte hain or decent earn bhi kar sakte hain, likin doosre field apko itna force bhi nhin karte iss lea aap uss level ki effor put nhin karte jitne mbbs main karte hain.

Also want to add k if u want to become a doctor just for money then DONT, these daily vendors r earning more than majority of doctors...u can easily start earning gd money if u dedicate 5,6 months to a valuable skill...o nthe other hand if medicine is ur passion nd u enjoy it thoroughly then its ur field to enjoy, otherwise do freelancing coz at the end of the day evverybody gotta pay their bills. Agree. My nephew were doing his pre medical. A bright student i believe he could easily go through all the exames. But i suggested him the same 3 yesrs back. He changed to computer science and after fcs he he did his bsc in computer scinese he is a fantastic fantastic software engineer now. Hes aiming to be an AI expert doing his studies for BS and also doing a job now highly paid in Dubai . Currently living with me and very satisfied and happy.

In 2017 i did fsc pre engineering and got 735 / 1100 and my qatabi cheera friend got 964 marks in fsc pre medical i am very dull in study and he is super intelligent. mujy bhe shok hoa kh mujy medical krna chya but matric ma bhe 724 thy family ma every time meri insult hoti thi bhi 3 years ma improve ka sath medical MBBS public sector ma admission lany ka bad call bhe attend ni krta tha and ma ny Software Engineering ma admission li 8th semester ma software company interview crack kr lya start 45k thi june 2022 sy join kya ab remote job kr rha hon jo pakistani 150k+ bnti i am not high paid engineer but its enough for me i think still i am earning less because of my communicaton skill and low confidence and some other factors otherwise people with same IT skill earning almost 250k+ PKR with same experience. ma na data science engineer bhe dhaky ha jo 600k to 700k pkr monthly salary ha. AI engineer 1500 dollar sy 5000 dollar 1 project ka charge krty ha. mera advice ya ha good acedmice ka bad top IT university ma admission lo like nust,fast,pucit agr itni struggle and effort IT skill pr ke jay to ya log millioniare sy billioniare bn skty mery jaisa bnda aram sy settle ho gya ya to phr bhe intelligient log ha

I've always been interested in business studies and management but because of my distinctions among the class fellows my family started pusing me towards the medical field I achieved 15th Position in Matric among all the Punjab. Then 5th in 1st Year pre medical and 20th in 2nd year. That's not the case brother..md paediatrics here...India is way larger than Pakistan..out population is the largest in the world and also if we're producing larger chunk of doctors ..the same ratio population gets increased..india will never see saturation in md/ms ..mbbs can saturate due to enormous no. Entry and exit exams for MBBS are very tough. Similarly, postgraduation pathway is also very long and tough. Hence doctors are busy studying and training and practically quacks are running quack clinics in every corner and most people think these quacks are doctors but they are not. So, demand of doctors is still there but sadly it is occupied by quacks.

Really good video,I myself have decided not to pursue mbbs even though I have faced pressure from my family members but now I have realized that this field has lost it's worth and it's just sheep mentality of people. Many of my friends are going to appear in mdcat and pursue mbbs but even though I feel sad about not taking this field I know it will be worth it and not to demotivate anyone but I know after 5 years of mbbs my friends will regret it one way or another it's just the bitter truth. I am grateful to Allah that he helped me realize and I know I will make my career in another field. And what is the biggest proof than doctors coming forward and admitting that this field is not worth it and don't choose it. Only those will realize it who think with their mind and don't follow people blindly.

Agar india me mbbs kar liya then 60-70 k min mil jayega but md/ms kiya to minimum 2 lakh per month milta hai and haan private college se jo mbbs karta hai balki jyada package milta hai but mostly both private and government is same bus government me ek saal ki fee is 50 thousand and private me 20 lakh ek saal ka😂😂😂 soach lo india me doctor banana kitna tough hai but india me bhi itni salary doctor ko nahi dete jitna usa me milta hai iss liye mostly indian usa choose karte hai mera ek dost usa se pg kar raha hai and wo bol raha tha ki yaha doctors ko 2 cr per annum milta hai (inr )😮😮😮😮

My father did his mbbs in 1960s he had a govt job retired as professor of oncology at Allama Iqbal medical college. He couldnt have his own 5 marks house . His father lost his life while saving women children from violence. His family was given 12.5 acres instead of 25 acres fertile land in India, and peanuts for large house. He invested his inheritance in lahore development Authority plot file, LDA committed fraud cancelled his plot and fraudulently gave to someone else. Hes 85 won case after 23 years but LDA still doing nothing.

I know, but things are not same for everyone, people in cities need jobs especially females Gpship has a lot of money and private practice is a jackpot, but not everyone can do that Many people need stable mediocre income jobs and want to live in a city And there's no flying from the fact that doctors are too much in number and the job sector is messed up these days. MBBS is meant for only a very small select group of people. It’s a course meant for people with a very specific personality and is very unforgiving course. If you are not 100% sure you want to do mbbs you are to be dissatisfied in life and I have learnt that late unfortunately 😢

I am a doctor , doing postgraduate training, also preparing for plab , you are absolutely right , I don’t know what I’ll do after my post graduation, and during my PG training , I’m being paid 30k per month & my four month salary is due. And I know I won’t get a job after my post graduation in Pakistan. I graduated from a private medical college in about 60,70 lac , did my Housejob unpaid and now this kind of unpaid PG training . Hello, I just graduated from high school in UAE n I was offered a scholarship for MBBS in Pakistan.. I’ve never been more confused in my life idk if should I study in Pakistan because it will be free and after the bachelor travel to Germany for instance and specialize there or should I study the bachelor in another country like Turkey, Georgia, Poland etc.. idk if it matters so much where to study MBBS and I don’t know if it’s the right field for me .. I had an aggregate of about 88% in my first attempt (year 2023).Firstly, i wanted to go for prvt MBBS even my name displayed in the merit list in January 2024 but all of sudden I decided to choose Pharm D by choice and not by chance. The current scenario of pakistan is that the no. of pharmacist dr’z does not meet the current need of our country.We want more pharmacists.Unlike pharm d,mbbs dr’z are more than need of country.It’s the main reason that there is more job saturation in mbbs as compared to pharm D.As far as i know in the first year there are majorly same subjects of both the courses(physiology,anatomy,biochem) ,same goes for the rest of the years except for the final year!!

I did Fsc in medical 2 years ago and was not aimed to study mbbs although my relatives insisted me too much like U r so intelligent student so you should opt for mbbs. But I did what was meant to me. Plus I also wonder how private academic institute like Kips,PGC are doing their great businesses by charging high fees from fresh students. U should also expose such beneficiaries. Now I am proud of my decision.

I am not saying there are no problems, but the perpetual rant by this kid is the reason why Pakistan as a society lacks professionalism. Some careers need to be built and some give fruit early but that doesn't mean you need to choose one profession over the other. Doctors in Pakistan need professionalism, the same Pakistani doctors behave very differently when they work overseas because of the laws and systems here. Now, I am not saying Pakistan doesn't have problems, but just like the public, doctors lack professionalism and they generally speak to patients in a very unprofessional way. There are several other issues like time discipline and other structural problems. I generally advise people not to be too negative, you have a long life ahead of you, things will turn out, just be professional, work hard and things will be better.

last time i checked i found many indian doctors (govt. sector) protesting about 36- 48 hrs duty, mob attacks and safety issues and the scams of entrance exams, and very high fee of private mbbs, so apparently we are different countries but atleast in this matter we are at the same page.. i also found indian doctors relating to the video in the comments..
