MBBS seats available under AIQ in TN govt medical colleges

The All India Counseling for Medical Admission is handled by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). State governments surrender 15% seats to MCC to be offered under all India counseling. In this video, we look at how many MBBS seats are offered under All India Quota in Tamil Nadu government medical colleges.

Any TamilNadu Institute can offer Rs.50K per TN eligible students who are opting AIQ (assume 600 students opt AIQ, then total expenses for the institute would be Rs.3 Crores in total), then 600 more TN students will get Govt seat under state quota ..This will give very good advertisement.. Instead of spending crores for TV ads, they can do this...

State medical colleges like MMC, Stanley, Kilpauk, etc. do not offer any PG seats based on institutional preference.

Asking for cmc ludhaina seat matrix Sir pls help :- For example if any candidate left seat from category 2d after the allotments in round 1 Then seat got vacant for round 2 !! So that vacant seat of respective category 2d will be give to the student of 2d only or it will be given for combine merit list ?

It will be offered to Category 2D students first. If there are no students left in Category 2D, then only it will be converted to a combined merit list.

Anyone can choose it. That's why it's called OPEN Category. A reservation candidate will be eligible for Open Category seats as well as seats under his own community.

No way to get government medical colleges. You may be able to get private colleges/ private universities/ deemed universities under management quota.
