Xiaojun is the MOST UNDERRATED singer, he truly is one of the best vocalist in SM for me. I love that he sings with such great POWERFUL emotions and he is a TOP-TIER singer! So Proud of Xiaojun for getting the recognition. I hope he reaches more success!

Plus, after the lucas incident it really brought a lot of changes in the team (wayv) in term of formation and concept, also been waiting for winwin to join and promote with them as well

I really felt a change in how SM finally gives him the promotions and attention he so badly deserves. for me the turning point when SM finally really noticed his potential was when he got BOTH choruses in the Pado (NCT U) song where even Taeyong, Mark, Jaehyun & haechan were also part of that lineup and would've usually always (especially taeyong and mark) got the center and chorus but BOOM they chose Dejun.. to me that was the moment where u knew, SM will finally push him! and what can I say, he became the 2nd Center position in WayV (which used to be Lucas) so he has way more screentime than before and even gets chrouses; He got the MC role on "The Show" which is crazy since almost always just korean idols get that; he got to perform on the currently REALLY POPULAR "Lee Mujin Performance" show and now even King of the masked singer. and it really pays off that they finally realized they have a gem in their basement.. his popularity is on the BIG rise so he even brought wayV a ton of new fans (the xiaojun bias ratio with new wayv fans is CRAZY) and is finally acknowledged as a top tier vocalist when back in the day NOBODY listed him in even just great singers of SM context...
