@@Mylifewithptsd they don’t, not really anyway. Key mentioned 2-3 years ago that it finally doesn’t hurt to talk about him, for Key anyway. I think it was last year (maybe 2022) that I watched a video of Key having a house-warming party with Taeyeon where they talk about him. Idols aren’t supposed to express “sadness” in the eyes of the public. They’re supposed to always be happy and fun for their fans so to express anything like anger or sadness is a big industry nono. I just remembered.. Minho was on Starry Night Radio where he talked about him and only because the dj asked Minho. Another one is a show that “introduces” idols to kids (I don’t remember what it’s called). Minho went on that show. He’s showing a little girl their videos from before and after. She notices one “uncle” is missing and asks about him. Minho said that uncle was sick and nothing more. I think if the interviewer asks, of course they’ll answer but the interviewers might also be coached to not speak about him.

I think for Teamin it's the strongest. When he's on his own solo stuff he's this mysterious sexy artist with a superstar aura! But the minute he is with his Hyungs he seems to turn into the slightly spoiled baby brother that everyone looks after and dotes on and he loves it 😊😁 There is a scene on the 15 year anniversary roadtrip where Taemin (30 yo remember) starts to prepare vegies for a meal and Minho & Key turn into 100% 'Mom & Dad mode' when he looks like he might gleefully cut his own finger off 😄

2 Thoughts: 1) Is it just me or does Onew seem more 'relaxed' and confident when dancing since his hiatus? 😊 2) Whenever they do these old dance mashups I'm always astonished when Taemin remembers ANY of it 😋 This is the man who forgot his own choreo on a show less than 1 year after the release. Taemin doesn't remember things 😄

To be fair to taemin these songs are basically ingrained in his mind really he performed them across both Japan and Korea and there shinees biggest hits. So I guess it's a lot easier to remember these dances more then his solo stuff tbh. 😊

7:06 as soon as it went back to their faces and i saw taemin breathe in and smile…i started crying… i didnt realise i was tearing up until this point as they were going through their eras. Shinee really are pioneers of kpop, from music to concepts to skills. They started so many trends, experimented and did it so well, never did anything 99%, it was and is always 10000% with shinee. Their bond shines soooo much and i believe they were destined to be together, no matter the crazy and funny stories. I love you always and forever shinee. I could genuinely write so much about them. They’ve lived and worked so hard and thanks to them, many people appreciate what their music and themselves have done for them!

SHINee makes me incredibly happy every time I see them. They may be seniors with more focus on individual activities and spending time away from the limelight when necessary, but when they come back, do they do it with a bang and better than anyone else. They still have so much energy. I remember the first time I saw them live, I was incredibly blessed to see Sherlock. They are EASILY one of the best and most memorable performers I've ever seen, vocally and in choreography. They really gave their energy and in their performances which really resonated with the crowd and the stadium I got to see them in. I'm happy to see Onew back and always happy to see SHINee as a group. I will love and support them.

the contrast between their "masculine" (as they put it) songs early in their career (despite softer releases like noona you're so pretty/replay, hello, and many others) with sherlock is kind of satisfying to see. especially taemin, who surprised a lot of shawols when his vocals improved so much over a short span of time. i remember in their japanese debut and then sherlock how i can't tell sometimes if it's jonghyun or taemin singing, their voices are just amazing (and so are onew's, key's and minho's of course. all shinee members have been all-rounders for a VERY long time) and i think i wasnt the only one with proud tears in their eyes when 13:53 showed jonghyun's part, even though taemin was dancing it. i'm glad the producers and editors did that!

Shinee was the group that got me into Kpop, I love many groups today thanks to them, but Shinee will always be my ultimate group. I hope one day we will be able to watch Jonghyun perform without feeling that gigantic hole in our hearts, it would be nice to smile instead.
