jiyong really loved being on stage..but i think return of the superman show really gave him the opportunity to be in the entertainment industry again without sacrificing his job and time with his family :) i have a huge respect for him for making his family first!

He said TROS was a win-win situation for both him and fans because he got to spend more time with his boy (he said he had some regrets about working too much when Seungjae was younger) and video diary to go along with the memories and fans get to see him on TV. Happy for everyone :)

I was little bit dissaponted that jiyong decide not to join this comeback. But after watching TROS i understand now. He has job, nice life and even better he has a beautiful family to taken care of. I'm happy for both 'sides'😊

When he looked out into the audience and realize the impact they had made to bring out 1st and 2nd generations of mothers with their children it was such a heartfelt phenomenal moment you could actual feel the emotional moment. When he looked out from above watching the other members you could tell how proud he was to be part of sechs kies. I really applaud the dedicated fans after 16 yrs. the turnout was beyond words they were great so supportive.

If i put myself in jiyong's shoes. It would probably be hard for me to join sechkies even if i wanted to. I mean that man already has a family to take care of. It would be irresponsible of him to not think of his family if he decided to make a contract with YG. I know from the looks of his eyes that je really wants to be on stage again, but if his current life doesn't permits him. Let's just wish him the best

So true... Not like he can just give up his career which is a stable source of income to become an artist again. Being an artist is tough, sometimes you work around the clock, you don't have time to spend with your family, and your popularity only lasts for a certain period of time. Sometimes scandals and controversies arise, and your life as an artist can be over in just a blink of an eye. When you're under the public's scrutiny, it's also hard for him and his family members to lead a normal life. Really respect Jiyong's decision and wish him all the best! :)

I think they chose to go on Infinite Challenge so that Jaesuk can help them convince Jiyong to join them on stage one last time. They've known each other since they were teenagers (Sunghoon is his childhood friend) so there must be a part of them that just wants to share a stage with a long lost friend even if only for an hour. Hopefully the "uncles" can come and visit Seungjae some time.

Not to mention that jiyong is also responsible for his employees livelihood. So many people depend on this man; his wife, his adorable son, and all his employees and business acquaintances. Kudos for him for making his decision even though I would love to see him again with the group.

I think JiYong is truly happy when he's on the stage TT I know he has a lot of responsibilities now but if he was my dad or my husband the only thing I would like from him is his happiness, I hope his beloved wife helps him to chose the right option, even if he can't be a member now (cause they already signed by YG) they can perform with them from time to time. I discovered the return of superman, by random browsing and then love watching it. I love watching their episodes (Ko Ji Yong and his son seungjae). Just a while ago did i find out that he's a member of sechskies. Although I cannot understand what they are saying, just seeing him get all tearyeyed makes me teary as well. He may not be with the other members in a group, im pretty much sure he's happy. He's also living a good life outside the camera, esp with his adorable son! Ko Ji Yong fighting! This group struggled so much and yet did so well during their time. They were considered legends and their company gave them such a hard time. If only DSP left Ji yong alone then, he would have still been in the industry. Had to wait 16yrs to see this, and here I am again re watching it. I can say that my mom was one of the first k-pop fan here in the Philippines. Back when she was in elementary the only Korean channel we had was Arirang TV. She remembered how she is torn between Sechskies and H.O.T. She is a really huge fan. And seeing them again in this show brings so much happiness and memory. So THANK YOU so much. YOu made my mom cried the whole day.ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ But seriously thank you for bringing them back again. I hope that there will be more 90s k-pop group that will be united like this, like Click-B, 1Tym, g.o.d., shinhwa...etc. (She told all her favoritesㅋㅋㅋㅋ) She remembered waiting for Pops in Seoul and Showking M in Arirang TV just to see these guys. At that time k-pop in not that popular as of now. SO thank you

I don't think there was bad blood though, except maybe Jaijin disagreeing with the decision to disband. Their disbandment had a lot to do with their company. As far as I know Suwon is the only one who had been staying in contact with Jiyong.
