Seohyun's voice never got chance to shine before because she was in charge of harmony in SNSD in TTS, not because she is not a capable singer. She even said before in an interview she wanted to sing in different ways but SM limited her so that's why she pursued musicals instead. I am glad because she has the voice of a true musical actress. It is clear, elegant and versatile. She can play many different characters and genres with her special voice. Moreso, she is very stable. She is the only member that can sustain high level of singing and dancing live at the same time. Even Taeyeon easily gets tired.

taetoro she probably did a lot of vocal training for musicals, which is different from the vocal training idols usually get. Look at Ken. His vocals improved when he got inti musicals. Before musicals, Seohyun’s voice wasn’t this full or powerful. She’s not as out of breath as she used to be either.

Seohyun's vocals are so beautiful and have immensely improved over the years. I know Taeyeon is the one who is widely recognized as SNSD's best vocalist, but Seohyun's appearance on this show proves that she's another strong singer. Reading some comments here irks me. Seohyun and Jessica has been in the same level technically for quite some time now.
