I think Shinhwa is the most talented kpop group not just because of their singing, rapping, and dancing (which are awesome, obviously) but also because of their work in composing, arranging, lyric-writing of many of their songs. They also choreograph many of the dances themselves. And they also sing while dancing. No lipsyncing. And all of the members except 1 (Eric) have branched out into solo music careers as well.

pourlaterreverte I am not a bts fan I don’t know them but I’ve been a shinhwa fan since I’ve known them when I was 12-13 yrs old, Since 2000 and by far none of the new Kpop can even be compared to shinhwa. I respect them as a group singer they have their ups and downs but the fact that they still together and loving each other respecting each other and still willing to stay together is the most respectable thing. They are talented in music dance and they open new doors to the youngsters to dream big! I am not putting others down but I agree with you that no matter what kind of fan they come across or fan of other group bad mouth them the fact that they r respectful to their fan is all that matters and maturity shows who they are and that the youngest now days will still have to bow 90 degrees to them in respect as an artist and as their senior. So fans of both stop the comparison of both. Band bts has their own style as the new generation n I think they should try to cover shinhwa songs they should come up with their own for once. I just didn’t like the fact that they TRY too hard to be like shinhwa it’s kind of disrespecting.... I get that they might have respect shinhwa a lot but the more they do it, it getting annoying because of the comparison. and nooo matter what they look like don’t they am not be compared to the original the legend! That’s my message I wanna point out to bts fan!

SHINHWA brought me here, their talent brought me here. Not BTS or GOT7 or any other band. Please be respectful when it comes to saying who sung the song better. Or who has more talent than the other. BTS, GOT7 and SHINHWA are all on different levels in different ways, but we must all be respectful to the original singers and writers of the song. Taylor Dodd​ One day I was watching some AOT cosplayers doing dance cover of this song wearing their uniforms and I really liked it. It was cool. So I searched for the original song so I can sing along (and maybe learn the dance). I didn't knew kpop back then so I was like their country's language is so hard. I watched even more covers for this song (but somehow never saw the original). And eventually gave up. Few weeks later someone shared BTS- I need u mv on Facebook so I watched it and that was the moment I got into kpop. A few days later I came to know that BTS had done a cover of this song and I WENT THERE RUNNING TO WATCH IT AND CAME HERE RUNNING AFTER THAT. It was then that I realised that Shinhwa is a kpop grp. Hehe I'm grateful to those cosplayers for (indirectly) introducing me to Shinhwa and kpop. 😁 And yea that's the story. 😁😁
