With 2pac, its not so much his delivery that makes it sound so good.. But more so his voice. His lyrics are already pure poetry, but that voice of his made him sound like a modern day Shakespeare.

Maybe more like street version (T.H.U.G) - he wasn’t really a thug in the literal sense of the word. He had to much intelligence, compassion, and community-mindedness to be an actual thug.

Thank you for this reaction. 2Pac's "All Eyes on Me" and "Me Against the World" got me through my early 20's. He was definitely my favorite rapper at the time (still in my top 5 of all time). I remember hearing the news that he passed away on 9/13/96😖, you would have thought I had lost an immediate family member, which ironically my dear grandmother passed away later on that day. I was a hot mess for months. RIP 2Pac and grandma. 💞

Tupac was an amazing artist. He was such a talented and hard-working person. It is insane how many songs he produced in such a short period of time. He was a poet and revolutionary - he wanted to change the world (it probably had a lot to do with his upbringing). Both of these qualities are reflected in his songs in my view. He also dabbled in acting, and without a doubt he would have gotten deeper into the movie scene if he hadn't passed. He had auditioned for a role in Star Wars before his passing.

2pac was a very deep, introspective and socially conscious rapper who poetically wrote songs about both himself (an aspect Eminem said to pick up on, as well as his range of emotions) and those living around him. And despite what some fans - always talking about 'Hit Em Up', or 'Ambitionz Az a Ridah', or 'Can't C Me' - and the media ("gangsta rap") think he often referred to his art as soul music and said his purpose was to touch and reach people - everything from how he decided to use his voice (rap-singing style and digging deep to push out his vocals) to how he chose to be more direct with his lyrics was to serve this purpose. It is songs like 'So Many Tears' , 'Keep Ya Head Up', 'Changes', 'Krazy' et cetera where we see the real 2pac -the one that you get in his interviews - and not the front he put on to sell records/get people's attention and create a defense for himself like in the more aggressive songs.

I'm so surprised how you REALLY GET IT bro, I think that's so fucking dope! I wish more people like you understood how good some hip hop, especially PAC, is....there will never be another like him! I love your reaction videos! Pac had so much emotion in his lyrics\voice! More pac! And Layne was my favorite singer EVER, and there will never be another with a voice like Layne, I live 20 minutes from his apartment he died in. Mad season is my favorite rock and roll record ever, long gone day is amazing! when you talked about Layne and Tupac at the end of your video it about floored me how similar I am to you with my opinion on that...I am 39 years old, mostly have a hip hop background but I loved 90s alternative Seattle bands ....Alice in Chains are my favorite, I can't believe what you just said at the end of this video, right on man, you have a new follower that has mad respect for you bruh!!!! 💯 PS..please try 2pac -starin through my rearview or 2pac-words to my first born, those are deep!

Had to comment....I watched younger people reacting to Tupac and they don't realize how good they got it that they do NOT comprehend his circumstances and choices...or the circumstances and choices of those in that kind of environment and living situation... You're TOTALLY right... Doesn't matter what color... Doesn't matter if it's a street gang or biker gang...I grew up in that environment as it sounds like you did... Maybe not the same exact street but our streets were parallel in EVERY way... Yes it is sad... But if you can't understand it, for those who can't,be glad of what you have and that such an existence is alien to you... I'm subscribing for that simple fact that you look and sound like a guy who has been "there" before.... And for ppl who have been THERE and lived to tell the tale (or tales if I'm being honest lol), it's not something you wanna glorify....I TOTALLY respect your approach and choice of words... because REAL guys do that while the braggers simply boast....I lost so so so many loved ones and to this day I regret my choices and decisions because they hurt more people than they hurt myself.... That's the flip side to all the glorifying some people do... My life growing up sucked...I made friendships and loves that will stay with me until I die but had I known a better way was even remotely attainable, do I ever wish I had taken it... Keep it up
