These caretakers work overnight, travelled overland from city to village, with untiring care for the orphans. Of course it is not about money remuneration but care should be given to their (care-takers) livelihood for their own family as they sacrificially care for the loving cute orphans. I am deeply impressed by the way these orphans are brought up in such natural habitat and freedom. Thank to all the caretakers! The elephants know that you are their heroes!

Mbegu, Ndotto, and Lasayen have grown into beautiful young elephants. LMbegu story broke my heart. I was in love with her instantly. And tiny little Ndotto, and tiny Lasayan I followed them always. I kept watching to see when and where they would graduate, and the fact they are all together in this move is amazing. They have all grown up into beautiful. healthy, and happy young elephants. Praise God, and God bless these amazing people who save, and nurture them.

I felt like a parent sending their child off to school for the first time when I saw the tweet about Ndotto, but then I remember that this is the reason why we donate and why DSWT does all the hard work. It's such a wonder to see them grow and develop, and to know one day they will return to the wild where they come from.

Can I just say one thing. Growing up I had family that had a small rescue where I had a job for life caring for animals In my late teens I moved away from family and the rescue. Gave it all up. So when I see Sheldrick founder’s daughter carrying the torch from her parents it just makes my heart so happy. You all are beautiful souls for saving these elephants. I am certain her parents are looking down, proudly in love. ❤️👏🏽❤️

They always have room in their hearts for others. No stupid cliques hating the new kids; no one saying ugh, what are THEY doing here, this is OUR home; no one shunning another. They’re shown acceptance and affection, or is it acceptance through affection. If we would apply their way of being, think how much better our human society would be.

BUON LAVORO A TUTTI! COMPLIMENTI DI CUORE A TUTTO IL DSWT E AI KEEPERS!!! GRAZIE!

@Sheldrick Trust At 02:02 in this video, what is the brown thing that is directly above the 'T' in the word "Trust" on the right side of the screen? We can see one of your green-cloaked keepers, quite close to this brown thing, and under different circumstances, one might think it might be an elephant laying down. -?- These precious ones are so beautiful! Thank you for all you do for them.

During a graduation or translocation, for everyone safety, the orphans remain in the truck throughout the journey. If we were to hazard a guess, we'd say its a mound of earth but we don't know - it wasn't important to the move and simply something on the side of the road.

This upload was 4 years ago. But there are so many orphans. Numbers are still too many. Are poachers still killing adult elephants for ivory in 2018 till today? Deeply concern. Kenya should step up more protection and security for the life of these elephants. Too many orphans still.
