For those who felt that she spoke a bit too much about herself... I guess she was sort of offended/hurt by Dhanya's question 'how did you handle the limelight that came to you by marrying into a star family'. She had to remind everyone that she WAS already used to limelight by virtue of her own talent and abilities. She didn't have to undergo any transition whatsoever! She was well known in the industry even before her marriage into the star family and for those who forgot that, she gave it on their face! :D

You are right. I knew Poornima right when she was before in relationship with Indrajith. She was seen in media for her artistic talents. Indrajith was an unknown person when he started his relationship with her and she was a celebrity. So it was not because of his family she became popular. Indrajith came to movies much later. If you see even today she is more busy with things than him

love love LOVE her!!! When i was younger there was a time when television had only fair skinned people on it. I remember clearly Poornima was one the very first brown skinned curly haired anchors on tv. I felt represented. I loved her, and she showed how much you can do and be without being the conventional person that people usually like. She has the most beautiful smile, talented, smart , ambitious and what not! She found the right partner for herself and is following her dreams. I am sure her children will grow up to be wonderful women in the society. Very much a lady of today. Thank you Happiness Project, for this.

I used to like her. But this interview was a bit disappointing. Her answers wre not so genuine especially the last one about happiness. It reminded me that i am sitting in a motivational class and listening to some text book quotes which are not so practical in a day to day life. The only positive side i felt is her control over d language. Very beautifully she could make everyone believe that she is so genuine and admirable
